Communications leadership

Communications leadership for technology and finance companies.

We lead your company’s communications and those of the people who speak for it. For fintech, financial infrastructure and regulated sectors.

One person leads the mandate and answers to the company for its execution.

Monthly mandate
From $3,000 a month
Minimum term
Three months
Kickoff
Four-week initial phase
The problem // 01

Your company does not need to produce more communications. It needs to lead them.

The company already communicates. What is missing is someone who governs what gets said, who says it and what evidence backs it up. It shows with a launch, a funding round or a regulatory change.

  1. Every channel tells a different story

The company has changed faster than the way it explains itself: the website, the deck and the executive profiles no longer match.
  2. Several spokespeople, several stories

The CEO talks about one thing, the brand about another, and product brings its own language. The market notices.
  3. Legal steps in at the end

Sensitive statements reach review once the piece is already written, or never reach it at all.
  4. Announcements run late

A launch or a funding round only starts being drafted when it should already be going out.
The mandate // 02

Five responsibilities under one line of leadership.

Content is the instrument, not the brief. The model resembles that of an outside finance director.

  1. Corporate narrative

What the company is, why it matters and what backs it up, in one shared document for every channel.
  2. Spokespeople's public position

What ground each spokesperson covers, who they speak to and what they leave alone.
  3. Editorial calendar

What gets published, when and under whose name, aligned with company milestones, and its production.
  4. Research and visibility

The research that supports the communications, and organic visibility, when they are part of the mandate.
  5. Judgment on what gets published

Whether a piece is consistent with the narrative, whether a figure has a source and whether a statement needs to go through legal or compliance.
The effect // 03

What changes once there is shared leadership.

  1. Spokespeople, product, marketing and leadership work from the same narrative.
  2. Announcements are prepared before they need to go out.
  3. Legal and compliance receive only the pieces they need to review.
  4. The CEO is no longer the only bottleneck for every communications decision.
  5. Every public statement is tied to evidence, a source or an accountable owner.
Proof // 04

Two leadership mandates.

Held by Víctor Ribes. For confidentiality, the companies are not named.

CASE // 01

Tokenized real estate investment platform

Situation
Issuing investment products: every statement about returns or regulation has consequences. The CEO's profile was a shop window for the product.
Responsibility taken on
Writing for the CEO on LinkedIn and, during 2026, leading the company's content and strategy: positioning, editorial direction and production.
System built
The CEO, repositioned as an executive who reads real estate, finance and technology with an operator's judgment; the brand, with an institutional voice of its own. A shared vocabulary (returns always stated as estimates, no regulatory claim the company could not back up) across issuance documentation, website, blog, social channels, the sales presentation and monthly reports.
Observable outcome

2,459,445

impressions on the CEO's LinkedIn profile

2,378

followers at the close of the period

These are reach metrics for the profile, not a commercial result for the company.

Source: LinkedIn Analytics, January 1 to August 1, 2026.

CASE // 02

Technology company opening a new category

Situation
A product with no known category. It had to explain what it was and, with the same precision, what it was not.
Responsibility taken on
Corporate and executive communications: category narrative, the CEO's public position and judgment on product claims.
System built
A category definition and a claims discipline that separates what is available from what is in development. One narrative for the CEO, other executives and the company page, across technical documentation, website, presentations, articles and blog.
Observable outcome

A coordinated public launch.

Every piece went out on the same day, with one definition of the company, reviewed beforehand by its legal leads.

How we work // 05

Diagnosis, direction and operation.

  1. 01Diagnosis

    Initial phase, four weeks

What the company says today, who says it and where the inconsistencies are. A session with the CEO, interviews with the spokespeople and a review of the materials.
  2. 02Direction

    Initial phase, four weeks

Narrative document (thesis, messages by audience, evidence and what is not claimed), spokesperson map and an initial calendar tied to milestones. The CEO approves them.
  3. 03Operation

    Monthly mandate

Production, coordination, sign-off, publishing and learning. A monthly leadership meeting, a fortnightly editorial meeting and an asynchronous channel for urgent matters. We reply within one business day.

Counterparts at the company: the CEO, who approves the narrative; a day-to-day point of contact; the spokespeople included in the mandate; and the legal or compliance leads.

Scope // 06

What the base monthly mandate includes.

External corporate and executive communications, with a defined volume and clear boundaries.

  • Leadership of the public position of up to two spokespeople.
  • Up to 12 pieces a month, executive and corporate, ready for approval.
  • One article or bylined piece a month.
  • Review of up to two corporate announcements a month.
  • Editorial calendar updated monthly.
  • Written publishing criteria.
  • Monthly report on execution, lessons learned and pending decisions.

Each piece includes two rounds of revisions.

Added depending on scope

Internal communications, public affairs, crisis management, spokesperson preparation, relations with specialist media and coordinating other providers.

Quoted separately

Additional spokespeople, press releases, ongoing media relations, advanced design and a full website.

Responsibilities // 07

What stays with your team.

  1. CEO

Business decisions. Approves the narrative and everything that goes out under their name.
  2. Legal and compliance

Legal and regulatory sign-off. DAS determines which pieces need it and coordinates the sign-off; it does not replace it.
  3. Product

The facts. We make no claim its owner has not confirmed.
  4. Marketing

Acquisition, paid media and visual identity, unless expressly agreed. We coordinate one shared narrative with marketing.
Fit // 08

Who it is for, and who it is not for.

Usual fit
  • A company with a product on the market or about to be.
  • More than one person speaking on its behalf.
  • Institutional exposure: investors, supervisors, the trade press.
  • An ongoing need for leadership, not a one-off job.
Not a fit
  • A one-off campaign.
  • Social media management on its own.
  • Paid acquisition or performance marketing.
  • Standalone design work.
Engagement // 09

How to engage us.

  1. A thirty-minute call

If it is not a fit, we say so on the call.
  2. A written proposal

Scope, spokespeople, cadence, deliverables and price.
  3. Mutual NDA and kickoff

A non-disclosure agreement and the start of the initial phase.

The initial phase runs four weeks, has a fixed price based on scope and is billed separately. The monthly mandate starts at $3,000 a month, with a three-month minimum after the initial phase: setup, a first full cycle of publishing and observation, and adjustment.

Frequently asked questions // 10

Before the call.

Do I need full communications leadership or just one specific capability?

If governance is missing (nobody decides what gets said, who says it and with what evidence), leadership. If only one spokesperson's voice is missing, executive ghostwriting. If evidence is missing, research. If visibility is missing, editorial SEO.

How is a mandate priced?

By scope: how many spokespeople, channels and responsibilities come under leadership. After the call, scope and price are set in writing.

Who works on my account?

Víctor Ribes leads every mandate and owns the relationship, with specialists under his leadership when the scope calls for it. There is no account manager.

Do you guarantee results?

No. We commit to the work, the cadence and the judgment. How the market reacts depends on factors beyond communications.
